Penny Auctions is a liquidity product, much like Poker or Bingo. In fact, most start up Penny Auction operations do not realize how important it is with liquidity. Without players, the site can not offer any attractive auctions and without auctions, the site can not attract players.
Also, without liquidity from Day 1, you need to put a lot of money on player acquisition.
Of course, the solution to this problem is to join a Network. You are guaranteed liquidity from Day 1, and you take no monetary risks on auctions not making it to “break even level”.
